This painting features a 1953 Cadillac Eldorado. It had occurred to me that almost 20 years into my painting journey, I had never created a detailed painting of a car. So, here is my first detailed painting of a car! When choosing the subject matter, I wanted to paint a car body that was bright colored with much reflection. Hence why I chose the Eldorado with its' large headlight lamps, chrome body, and curvy lines.
